Angel Lyons Suggs

Angel Lyons Suggs, 37, of Valdosta died Tuesday, June 11, 2013. She was born in Hahira on May 4, 1976 and was a lifelong resident of Lowndes County. Mrs. Suggs was a member of the Redland Baptist Church and had been a substitute teacher with Lowndes County Schools. She enjoyed painting with her daddy. Her family was her greatest joy in life.

Survivors include her husband, Bill Suggs, her daughter, Brett Hesters, her son, Bill Suggs, Jr., her stepdaughter, Marisa Suggs, stepgranddaughter, Layla Robinette, her father and mother, Sidney and Theresa Lyons all of Valdosta, her brothers and sisters in law, Sidney and Stephanie Lyons of Gulfport, MS., Richard and Brooke Lyons of Amarillo, Texas, father in law and mother in law, Steve and Louise Suggs of Valdosta, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins, special friends, Christy Roth, Julie Richardson, April Bennett, Angie Powell and Tracie Peters. The family wants to express their appreciation to Hospice of South Georgia for their care and support during Angel's illness.

Graveside services will be held at 9am, Friday, June 14, 2013 at Pleasant Way Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Jay Watkins and Rev. Tommy Sirmans officiating.
