Andrew Wade Weldon

Andrew Wade (Andy) Weldon, Sr., 45, of Hahira, died Saturday, January 27, 2007 at his residence. He was born in Valdosta on November 4, 1961, worked at Packaging Corporation of America and was a member of Forrest Street Church of God.

He is survived by his children, Andrew Wade (Drew) Weldon, Jr. of Fort Lauderdale, FL, Wesley Paul Weldon of Valdosta, Mary Katherine (Sissy) Weldon of Athens, GA, parents, A. W. (Dub) and Margaret (Margie) Weldon of Hahira, one sister, Debra Brooks of Valdosta, one brother and two sisters in law, Ronnie and Donna Weldon of Valdosta and Karen Weldon of Echols County, one nephew, several nieces and cousins and other relatives. Andy is predeceased by his brother, Stephen Wesley Weldon.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 30, 2007 at two p. m. at the Forrest Street Church of God with Reverend Wayne Hughes officiating. He will lie in state in the church for one hour prior to service time. Burial will follow in Friendship Cemetery in Hahira. The family will receive friends from six until eight p. m.
