Andrew John Bond III, 20, of Palm Harbor, Fla died Monday, February 1, 2010 in Darlington, S.C. from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was born in Valdosta on July 18, 1989 to Kay Stewart Dooley and Andrew John Bond, II. He lived in Valdosta until he was 11 years old. He attended Starkville Academy and graduated from West Florence High School in Florence, S. C. and then moved to Palm Harbor, Florida with his family.
Andrew rarely met anyone he couldn�t make smile or laugh. He had his mother�s love of missions and his father�s love of music and sports. He also loved helping people. He especially loved children who captured his heart on mission trips to Brazil and Asia as well as at Foster children camps in Florida.
Survivors include his parents, Glenn and Kay Dooley of Palm Harbor, Fla., John and Maribeth Bond of Madison, Mississippi, two brothers, Wesley Bond and James Dooley both of Palm Harbor, Fla., one sister, Emily Bond of Madison, Mississippi; grandparents, Richard M. Stewart, Sr. and the late Katherine Stewart of Valdosta, Lula Bond Price of Gautier, Mississippi and the late Andrew J. Bond Ph.D., formerly of Valdosta; Margaret Dooley and the late Ralph Dooley of Perry, Ga., four uncles, Richard M. Stewart, Jr. and his wife, Sarah; Tim Bond and his wife, Kim of Vancleave, Mississippi; Alan Dooley and his wife, Cathy, Phillip R. Dooley and his wife, Kim all of Perry, GA, two aunts, Andrea Booker and her husband, Mel of Muscle Shoals, Ala. and Suzanne Stewart Cox and her husband, Randy of Valdosta., his cousins, Stewart DeMersseman, Daniel DeMersseman, Suzanna DeMersseman, Stephanie Bennett, Steve Flythe, Karen Stewart, Richard Stewart, III, Blair Booker, Erin Booker, Hannah Booker, Bo Booker, Kayla Bond, Mackinzee Bond, Timothy Bond, Truth Bond, Trinity Bond, Regan Bond and Riley Bond.
Funeral services will be held at 11am, Thursday, February 4, 2010 at New Covenant Church with Pastor L. A. Joiner and Pastor Randy Stephen officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 6-8pm at the funeral home.
