Andrew Charles Zaun

Charles Zaun, 54, of Valdosta, died suddenly on Sunday, September 3, 2006, at South Georgia Medical Center. Born in Miami, Florida, on March 14, 1952, he was the son of the late Richard and Lois Jean Washburn Zaun. Mr. Zaun was owner of Zauns Landscape and Design. He was a member of Christ the King Episcopal Church.

Survivors are his wife, Glynda Zaun of Valdosta, a son, Wayne Lorenzo of Valdosta, sisters and brothers in law, Kathy Zaun of McDonough, Joann Zaun and Lora Lee Zaun of Oak Park, Illinois, Cheryl and Terri Shelton of Cocoa Beach, Florida, brothers and sisters in law, Richard Zaun of Valdosta, John and Audra Zaun of Fayetteville, North Carolina, Charles Joseph Zaun of Oak Park, Illinois, Rachel Zaun of Valdosta and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. in the chapel of the Carson McLane Funeral Home. The Reverend Stan White, Reverend Jimmy White and Mr. Richard Stephenson will officiate. Burial will follow at McLane Riverview Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday evening from 6 – 8 p.m. Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to The American Heart Association.
