Alton Lee Touchton

Alton Lee Touchton, 63, of Barney died Sunday, March 18, 2018 at his home. He was born in Hahira on August 12, 1954 to the late Edgar Alton and Louise Croft Touchton and was a lifelong resident of this area. Lee was a member of the Hahira United Methodist Church where he sang in the choir. He was a farmer and had worked at Miller Whitehead Hardware. Lee graduated from Brooks County Christian School and attended ABAC. He coached at the Boys Club and loved hunting, fishing and camping at the beach. Lee was a happy man who shared his happiness and love with his family and friends.
Survivors include his wife, Chandler Touchton of Barney; two daughters, Anna Touchton and Stephan Milanes of Eureka, California, Emily and Tanner Schenfisch of Velva, ND; grandchildren, Elias Milanes, Alexander Milanes, Rylynn Milanes; sister and brother in law, Elaine and Woody Bell of Knoxville, TN; mother-in-law, Martha Ann McCaskill of Tallahassee, FL; sister-in-law and brother-in-law; Jodi and Greg Harbin of Washington, NC; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Rick and Janet McCaskill of Whigham, GA; nieces; Andrea Bell, Millie Murray, Alison Peters; nephews; David Bell, Ralph McCaskill, Sam Peters.
Funeral services will be held at 1pm, Saturday, March 24, 2018 at the Hahira United Methodist Church with Rev. Mike Davis officiating. Burial will follow in Campground Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday from 6-8pm at the Martin/McLane Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Hahira United Methodist Church, 101 E.
