Alma R. Zeigler, 99, of Statenville died Sunday, September 26, 2010 at the Good Samaritan Center in Dowling Park, Florida. She was born on August 6, 1911 in Echols County to the late J. H. and Della Eddy Raulerson and had lived in Statenville for ninety three years. Mrs. Zeigler was a member of the Church of God.
Survivors include one son, Conrad (Marjorie) Zeigler, one daughter, Jean Bailey all of Statenville, one granddaughter, Debbie (Keith) Tomlinson of Statenville, two great grandsons, Kevin (Chelsea) Tomlinson of Statenville and Jared Tomlinson of Ridgeland, MS., one sister in law, Deloris Raulerson of Statenville and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Lee L. Zeigler, four brothers and three sisters.
Funeral services will be held at 2pm, Tuesday, September 28, 2010 at Wayfare Primitive Baptist Church with Rev. Carroll Allen officiating. Burial will follow in the Wayfare Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday at the church from 1pm until service time.
