Alissa Rae Terrell

Alissa Rae Terrell, 10, of Hahira died on Tuesday, January 31, 2012 at South Georgia Medical Center. She was born in Valdosta on June 26, 2001 to William Edward Terrell and Daphney Patterson Terrell.

In addition to Alissa's parents, she is survived by her sister, Chandler Terrell of Jacksonville, Florida; maternal grandparents, Danny and Donna Patterson of Hahira; paternal grandparents, Ronald and Mary Hewitt of Live Oak, Florida; maternal great grandmother, Fannie Patterson of Valdosta, a godmother, Marie Grimes of Clyattville; maternal aunts and uncles, Dana and Glenn Gibbs of Hahira and Deanna and Harry Turner of Valdosta; maternal uncle and aunt, Daniel and Kathryn Patterson of Hahira; paternal aunts and uncles, Carolyn and Ronnie Johnston of Lake Park, Scott and Lindsey Garren of Valdosta, Jonathan Terrell of Quitman; cousins, Jacob Gibbs, Amy Gibbs Nellis, Gracie Patterson, Dylan Patterson, Deen Patterson, Courtney Johnston, Aultin Terrell, Jason Garren, Brittany Futch, Brianna Williams, and other aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, Judie Terry and paternal aunt, Connie Terrell

Services for Alissa will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, February 2, 2012 in the chapel of the Carson McLane Funeral Home with Rev. Mollie Danner and Mr. Bob Ellis officiating. The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to the family.
