Aliene Lehman Graul, 86, of Tifton died on Sunday, January 22, 2012 at Tift Regional Hospital following a lengthy illness. She was born in Hahira, Georgia on September 26, 1925 to the late John Cleveland (Major), and Florence Lewis Lehman. She was retired from Abraham Baldwin Agriculture College (ABAC) as the Assistant Food Director and was a member of Northside Baptist Church in Tifton.
Survivors include three daughters and a son-in-law, Betty Aliene and Earl McClary of Acworth, Georgia, Mary Irene Chastain of Colquitt, and Jeorge Ann Dorough of Tifton; five grandchildren, Angela Jensen, Earl McClary, Jr., Alicia Wehner, Mitch Graul, and Dustin Dorough; seven great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Major George F. Graul.
Services for Aliene Graul are scheduled for 2 p.m. on Wednesday, January 25, 2012 in the chapel of the Martin/McLane Funeral Home in Hahira. The burial will follow in the Friendship Cemetery.
