ALICE HARRIS MIDDLEBROOKS, 74, of Hahira died Wednesday, November 22, 2006 at the Lakehaven Nursing Home after a lengthy illness. She was born on March 12, 1932 in Banbury, England to the late William Wills and Margaret Morley Wills and had lived in this area for the past forty seven years. Mrs. Middlebrooks was a member of the Christ Episcopal Church. She was retired from K-Mart as the assistant manger of the grill and a member of the Union Jack Club.
Survivors include two daughters and sons in law, Glynis and Marvin Mangrum of Macon, Sharon and Robert Miller of Valdosta, two sons and a daughter in law, Stewart Harris of Hahira, Charles and Sherry Harris of Valdosta, five grandchildren, Mallory Harris, Morgan Harris, Britainy Harris, Connor Harris and Lorianne Goff Jolly, two stepgrandsons, John David Mangrum and Jason Mangrum, one great grandchild, Lexie Miller, one sister, Silv Jackson of Banbury, England.
Memorial services will be held at 2pm, Sunday, November 26, 2006 at the Christ Episcopal Church with Father Peter Ingeman officiating. Burial will follow in the Christ Church Urn Garden. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 5-7pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials should be made to the Christ Episcopal Church.
