Alice Coulter Foltz, 84, of Valdosta, died suddenly on Tuesday, August 14, 2018 after a period of declining health. Mrs. Foltz was a teacher and librarian having served as a librarian in the Department of Corrections in Florida and also at the Georgia Institute of Technology and most recently at the Judeo-Christian Public Library. She was a member of Crossroads Baptist Church and she served as a volunteer at The Mailbox Club.
Survivors include her son, Bill Coulter of Atlanta and a step daughter, Laura Comer of Sugarland, TX.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday at Carson McLane Funeral Home, with Dr. Ken Alford officiating. Burial of the cremains will follow at Sunset Hill Cemetery.
