Alfred Robert (Robbie) Hardrick

ALFRED ROBERT (ROBBIE) HARDRICK, 50, of Valdosta passed away Thursday, November 22, 2007 at South Georgia Medical Center. He was born on February 2, 1957 in Alma, Georgia to Ferrell Smith Hardrick and the late Aldree Alfred Hardrick and had lived in Valdosta for the past twenty one years. Mr. Hardrick was the owner of Hardrick Acoustic Ceilings and had recently become a Christian. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed spending time with his dog, Honey and his cat, Molly.

Survivors include his wife of twenty one years, Sherri Johnson Hardrick of Valdosta, one son, Kristopher Hardrick of Virginia Beach, VA., mother and stepfather, Ferrell and Jack McCall of Waycross, brother, James Al Hardrick of Waverly, sister and brother in law, Deborah and Ron Mason of Waycross, his niece, Susan Mason of Lyons, GA., best friend and fishing buddy, Tommy Thompson of Morven, dear friend and neighbor, Nancy Futch of Valdosta, his mother in law, Sandra Moore of Jesup, numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family members. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Robert Jackson Smith and Allie Smith and an uncle, Danny Smith.

Funeral services will be held at 2pm, Sunday, November 25, 2007 in the chapel of Carson McLane Funeral Home with the Rev. Bob Willis officiating. Graveside services will be held at 4:30pm, Sunday at the Telmore Church Cemetery in Millwood. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 3-5pm at the funeral home.
