Alexander Ross Gottlieb

Alexander Ross Gottlieb, age 36, of Pensacola, FL, passed away on August 3, 2024. He was born on May 18, 1988, in Miami Florida.

Alex graduated from Lowndes High School (2006) in Valdosta, GA, and went on to earn his B.S. in Accounting and Finance, magna cum laude, from Valdosta State University. He was a proud veteran of the Marine Corps, serving with distinction in Iraq (2007-2008) Israel (2009), and Yemen (2011-2012).

An incredible Dad and avid Florida State football fan, Alex enjoyed playing soccer and football with his son, Hudson. He cherished playing pretend with his daughter, Audrey, and loved spending time outdoors fishing and hunting. Alex also enjoyed spending time with friends, creating lasting memories with those he loved.

He is survived by Jessica Gottlieb and their children, Hudson Ross Gottlieb and Audrey Capri Gottlieb. He is also survived by his mother, Carmen Batch, and stepfather, Eric Batch; his brother, Steven Gottlieb; and his father, Lee Gottlieb.

A funeral service will be held at 4:00 PM on August 10, 2024, at McLane Funeral Home, 2215 N. Patterson St., Valdosta, GA, with Jimmy Towson officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to assist with the cost of services and support the family can be made at GoFundMe
