Albert Pendleton Little, 93, of Valdosta, passed away Friday, July 8, 2016, at the Langdale Hospice House.
He was born December 5, 1922, in Valdosta, a son of the late Albert J. and Bessie Pendleton Little. During World War II he honorably served in the U.S. Army Medical Corps in India. Mr. Little was a Chemical Engineer and retired from Monsanto and Badger Engineering. He was a man of faith and an active member of Central Avenue Church of Christ. His wife and family were very important to him, and he enjoyed being active, fishing and playing golf.
Mr. Little is survived by his wife of sixty-six years, Jane Watson Little of Hahira; a daughter, Susan Elizabeth Brock and husband William of Gallatin, TN; a son, Albert P. Little, Jr. and wife Mary of Green Cove Springs, FL; a granddaughter, Carrie Elizabeth Brock-Brown and husband Jake of Hendersonville, TN; two grandsons, Christopher Brock and wife Jennifer of Columbus, OH, and Matthew Little of Arlington, VA; a brother, Pendleton Little and wife Paula of Valdosta; and a niece, Penny Rogers and husband Jeff of Tucker, GA. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Edward Little.
The Funeral Service for Mr. Little will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, July 10, 2016, at the Chapel of Carson McLane Funeral Home. Private interment will follow at Sunset Hill Cemetery.
