ALBERT DAVID GRAY, SR., 87, of Valdosta died Tuesday, October 24, 2006 at South Georgia Medical Center. He was born on March 21, 1919 in Dadeville, Alabama to the late George and Lessie Abbott Gray and had lived in Valdosta since 1963. Mr. Gray was retired as a Senior Master Sargeant with the United States Air Force after thirty years of service. He was a member of the Park Avenue United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Virginia Tapley Gray of Valdosta, one son and daughter in law, David and Brenda Gray of Valdosta, one grandson, Clinton Gray of Valdosta, two nieces and their spouses, Kim and Hoyt Murphy, Amy and Roger Hatchett all of Sylacauga, Ala.
Graveside services with full military honors will be held at 11am, CST on Thursday, October 26, 2006 at the Evergreen Memorial Cemetery in Sylacauga, Ala. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service at the Curtis and Son Funeral Home, 1315 Talladega Highway, Sylacauga, Ala. 35150, phone # 256-245-4361.
