Albert Sidney Hall III, 74, of Valdosta died Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at South Georgia Medical Center. He was born in San Mateo, California, on August 19, 1942, to the late Albert S. Hall Jr. and Anna Elizabeth Osborn Hall. A pilot and veteran of the United States Air Force, Mr. Hall was an avid reader and enjoyed computers. He was a member of the Central Avenue Church of Christ.
Mr. Hall is survived by his wife of 49 years, Halcyon Hall of Valdosta; daughter and son- in-law, Laura (Derek) Sachs of Sarasota, Florida, their children, Christian Sachs, and Aeryn Sachs; son, Hugh Hall, of Conway, Arkansas, his children, Mary Hall-Holden, and Jordan Brown; daughter and son-in-law, Tatania "T" (Adam) Ganshirt of New Hall, California, their children, Mason Ganshirt, and Mallory Ganshirt; daughter, Lois Russell of Cabot, Arkansas, her children, Autumn Russell and Rebeka Russell; daughter and son-in-law, Chasidy Wright (Stacey) of Valdosta, their children Shakyia Wright and Christian Wright; and numerous cousins in Texas, Oklahoma and Missouri. In addition to his parents, Mr. Hall was predeceased by a grandchild, S. J. Wright.
Memorial services will be held on Monday, January 2, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at the Central Avenue Church of Christ, with Mr. Mike Steiner of Little Rock, Arkansas to officiate. The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 31, 2016, from 2 p.m. – 3 p.m. at the Carson McLane Funeral Home.
