Agnes Mae Hagin, 94, of Valdosta died Friday, May 8, 2020 at Magnolia Manor in Buena Vista, Georgia. She was born on October 30, 1925 in Thonotosassa, Florida to the late John Elbert, Sr. and Lillie Mae Burney Lewis. Mrs. Hagin was a member of the Forrest Park Church of Christ. She served as Program Director at the Girls Club from 1965-1975.
Survivors include her children and their spouses, William Lovette, Jr. and June B. Hagin of Buena Vista, Gregory S. and Robin J. Hagin of McDonough, Beverly Anderes of Kansas, Randy S. and Silvia Hagin of Bertrum, TX; her grandchildren, Stephanie Strausser, Elizabeth Hagin, John Hagin, William L. Hagin, III, Sarah Zimmerman, Jeremiah Anders, Amber Victorson, Randall Samuel Hagin, Benjamin Scott Hagin, Rebecca Chavez; 23-great grandchildren; her sister, Jewel Cannon of Kissimmee, FL. She is preceded in death by her husband, William Lovette Hagin, Sr.; a grandson, Gregory S. Hagin, Jr., her brothers, John Elbert Lewis, Jr. and Cecil R. Lewis and two sisters, Peggy Strickland and Lois Southerland.
Graveside services will be held at 11am, Wednesday, May 13, 2020 at McLane Riverview Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6-8pm at the funeral home. Condolences to the family may be conveyed online at www.mclanecares.com Carson McLane Funeral Home.
