Addie LeGette Forte, 85, of Adel died Monday, May 13, 2013 at South Georgia Medical Center. She was born in Mullins, South Carolina on June 2, 1927 to the late Herbert L. and Esther Rowell LeGette. Mrs. Forte was a member of the Hahira United Methodist Church. She enjoyed traveling, reading and being with family and friends.
Survivors include her husband, Willard W. Forte of Adel, daughter and son in law, Linda and Phillip Hodges of Excelsior Springs, MO, her granddaughter, Angela Beth Hodges of Excelsior Springs, MO, her sister and brothers in law, Barbara and John Fulp of Cecil, Jesse Lee Folsom of Hahira, Max Tyler of Higginsville, MO, stepson and stepdaughter in law, Gary and Adriana Forte of Jacksonville, FL, sisters in law and brother in law, Carolyn Warren of Quitman, Agnes and Buck Durley of Jacksonville, FL, Margaret Redding of Valdosta, nieces and nephews, Toney and Judy Fulp, Sherry and Everett Franks, Debi and Ken Goff, Tracy and Chris Cornelius, Roger Folsom, Randy and Sandy Folsom, Lynne and Buster Johnson. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Virginia L. Folsom.
Graveside services will be held at 11am, Thursday, May 16, 2013 at Friendship Cemetery with Rev. Ken Morgan and Rev. Lynn Hurley officiating. No formal visitation will be held. Condolences to the family may be conveyed online at www.mclanecares.com. Martin/McLane Funeral Home of Hahira.
