Adair Myddelton Nunnally Pizer

Adair Myddelton Nunnally Pizer, 86, of Valdosta died Tuesday, December 10, 2013 at her home. She was born in Valdosta on October 8, 1927 to the late Archibald Smith and Isma Shepherd Myddelton. Mrs. Pizer was a member of the Christ Episcopal Church. She was a member of the National Society of Colonial Dames of America and the Piedmont Hospital Ladies Auxiliary in Atlanta. Mrs. Pizer was a member of the Mystery Club, Readers Forum and the Valdosta Country Club. She was also active with the Turner Center for the Arts, Valdosta Symphony Guild and the Buffalo Bill Museum in Cody, Wyoming.

Survivors include two sons and daughters in law, Robert and Karen Nunnally of Ellaville, GA, David and Dawana Nunnally of Quitman, two stepsons Jim (Carolyn) Nunnally of Zephyr Cove, NV, Edwin (Maureen) Nunnally of Reno, NV, grandchildren, Victoria Leigh Nunnally, Casey (Joel) Humphrey, Brittney Marie Nunnally, Justin Winship Nunnally, Alison Nunnally, Jonathan Nunnally, Charles Nunnally, great grandson, Colton Humphrey and three nieces. She was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon Pizer, her brother, Archie Myddelton and her sister, Ann Dunlap.

Funeral services will be held at 11am, Friday, December 13, 2013 at the Christ Episcopal Church with Rev. Walter Hobgood and Rev. John McGowan officiating followed by a private interment at Sunset Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday from 10am until service time at the Parish Hall of the Christ Episcopal Church.
