Aaron H. (Tommie) Conger

Aaron H. (Tommie) Conger, 87, of Valdosta died Saturday, April 23, 2016 at Fellowship Home. He was born June 29, 1928 in Berrien County, Georgia to the late John Thomas Conger and Eliza Jane Wilson Conger. He was a retired supervisor and trainer with General Motors in Flint Michigan and attended Azalea City Church of God. Mr. Conger enjoyed woodworking and tending to his citrus trees.

He is predeceased by his wife, Alice Elizabeth Fairs Conger and is survived by his wife, Jeanell Conger of Valdosta, three daughters and two sons-in-law, Peggy Conger Hott, Betty Sue Conger Curtis (John Vernon) and Merry Lynn Conger Gray (John E.) all of Clio, Michigan, step-daughter and her husband, Wanda and Jack Kent of Valdosta, step daughter in law, Essie Merritt of Adel Grandchildren, Sarah Michelle Baxter, Stephanie Denise Baxter, Alicia Mary Nicole Hott (Jeremy Boeckel), Adam Brent Baxter (Natalie), Marcia Rene Baxter Osaer (Joshua), Jonathan Mark Curtis (Sarah Elizabeth (Beck) Curtis, Nicolas Paul Curtis (Lacey Jeanne Luella (Darnell) Curtis, Heather Lynn Gray and Heidi Nicole Gray, great grandchildren, Chase Joshua Norman Osaer, Carter Ryan Matthew Osaer, Carlie Elizabeth Baxter, Noah Robert Boeckel, Eva Grace Boeckel, Logan Peter Baxter, Jenna Rose Baxter, Annie Elizabeth Grace Curtis, Ella Amelia Ruth Curtis, Charlotte Alice Rose Curtis, Irelyn Makenna Piper Curtis and Isabella Ava Faith Curtis.

Funeral Services for Mr. Conger will be held Tuesday, April 26, 2016 at two p. m. in the chapel of the Carson McLane Funeral Home with Reverend Brett Jarrell officiating. The family will receive friends on Monday evening from six until eight p.m. Burial will be Woodlawn Cemetery in Clio, Michigan.
