A.H. (Pat) Pattillo, 88, of Lake Park died Sunday, July 1, 2012 at his home. He was born on May 5, 1924 in LaGrange to the late Ernest and Vora Curry Pattillo and had lived in Lowndes most of his life. Mr. Pattillo was a Baptist and veteran of the United States Army. He worked as an electrician with Hallman Electric which he later purchased and formed Azalea City Electric Company until he retired. He was retired for three months and then worked for Ace Electric until he was eighty years old.
Survivors include his wife, Juanita Moore Pattillo of Lake Park, two sons and a daughter in law, Lynn Pattillo of Lake Park, Scott and Jennifer Pattillo of Hahira, son in law, Steve Thomas of Lake Park, seven grandchildren, Candi (Warren) McGee, Brandy (Jeremy) Valler, Patrick Pattillo and his girlfriend, Samantha Lorio, Chad (Megan) Gordon, Caysee (Kevin) Wheeler, Brianne Pattillo, McKenzie Pattillo, 10-great grandchildren, brother in law, George Hunt of Savannah, nieces and nephews, Sharon McMullen, Tony (Janice) Cleary all of Lake Park and Clint (Joy) Holland of DeFuniak Springs, Fla., numerous great nieces and great nephews. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Sheila Pattillo Thomas and two sisters, Arlene Cowart and Sue Hunt.
Funeral services will be held at 2pm, Thursday, July 5, 2012 in the chapel of Carson McLane Funeral Home in Valdosta with Rev. Tom Studstill officiating. Burial with military honors will follow at Riverview Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 4, 2012 from 6-8pm at the Carson McLane Funeral Home, 2215 N.
