James M. (Jim) Howard

James M. (Jim) Howard, 26, of Valdosta, died at his residence on Thursday, July 17, 2008. He was born on December 23, 1981 in San Antonio, TX. Jim was an artist and musician.

He is survived by his parents, Dr. and Mrs. William R. Howard of Valdosta; brothers and sisters-in-law, Bill and Jessica Howard of Mt. Pleasant, SC, Tom and Jessica Howard of Falls Church, VA and Ben Howard of Atlanta; nephews, Riden Howard and Cole Howard; aunt and uncles, Carole and Doy Lively of Marietta, Steve Howard and John Howard, both of Milledgeville and Jim Howard of Hawkinsville. Jim was preceded in death by his great aunt, Elisabeth McLane.

Services will be held at 2 P.M. Sunday, July 20, 2008 at Park Avenue United Methodist Church with Chaplain Jeff May officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday afternoon from 4 until 6 p.m.at Carson McLane Funeral Home.
